The La Plata United Methodist Church is conveniently located in La Plata, Md., near the intersection of US-301 and SR 6.
The 1000-member church is led by Reverend Dr. Bruce A. Jones. The church has a variety of groups and committees, and it is very active in the local community. Worship services are held every Sunday at 8:30 a.m. and at 11:00 a.m. Bible school classes are at 9:45 a.m.
