Born in the 19th Century, Living in the 21st Century. The congregation formed in 1865 and the church was constructed in 1870. This typical 19th Century tidewater-style church, the oldest on Solomons Island, features a bell tower, antique stained lead-glass memorial windows, hand-made altar rail and a pulpit which was constructed from the paneling of an old 18th Century sailing schooner. We are Blessed to be a blessing.
