We welcome everyone to our community church here in La Plata. We have a diverse group of members who place extremely high values on fellowship, leadership, and faith. Our youth group can't be beat, and our commitment to improving our relationships with God and others sets a very high standard for others in southern Maryland.
The La Plata United Methodist Church is conveniently located in La Plata, Md., near the intersection of US-301 and SR 6.
The 1000-member church is led by Reverend Dr. Bruce A. Jones. The church has a variety of groups and committees, and it is very active in the local community. Worship services are held every Sunday at 8:30 a.m. and at 11:00 a.m. Bible school classes are at 9:45 a.m.
