The Islamic Center of Lexington Park (ICLP) is a small but growing group of Muslims in the Southern Maryland area. We are steadily growing in size and have recently acquired a building for lease. This is the first Masjid in St. Mary's County.

SMILE is an ecumenical community outreach ministry committed to service in Christ's name. The charity is comprised of seven churches in southern Calvert County whose purpose is to establish and operate an ecumenical ministry to enable people of all denominations to work together to provide food, clothing, and other forms of assistance and support for those in need. Our programs are: Thrift Shop and Jack's Junque Closet, Food Pantry, Holiday Meals and Food Baskets (Thanksgiving and Christmas), Life Styles Ministry, and Ecumenical Worship (Lent, Good Friday "Way-of-the-Cross" Procession, Thanksgiving, and Galilean services). SMILE is the acronym for 'Service Makes Individual Lives Exciting". Volunteers are always welcome. "We Are Partners Working Together For God." (1 Cor.3:9)

We are a group of like-minded Christian therapists in the Southern Maryland area who want to get together to discuss issues, share training opportunities and Biblical techniques that work, offer referral opportunities, and network with others who have a Biblical focus for therapy. This group is open to licensed therapists and psychiatrists as well as students in training. Prayer will be offered, and Jesus Christ will be revered as our supreme authority for all therapeutic issues discussed.

Welcome to Southern Maryland Emmaus! We're an active 4th Day community serving Anne Arundel, Calvert, Charles, Howard, Montgomery, Prince Georges, and St. Mary's counties.

The Walk to Emmaus is grounded theologically and institutionally in The Upper Room ministry unit of the General Board of Discipleship of The United Methodist Church.

To get involved in Emmaus, each person must have a sponsor who has already attended Emmaus him- or herself. If you have a friend who has been to Emmaus, ask your friend to tell you about his or her experience with the program.

We currently have over 125 active members in our community. Our multi-county area is divided into three Local Communities serving the northern, central and southern regions of southern Maryland. We meet on a monthly basis, and have numerous Accountability Groups established throughout our area.
