Christmas in April * St. Mary's County is a local chapter of Rebuilding Together with Christmas in April, a national volunteer organization that, in partnership with the community, rehabilitates the homes of low-income homeowners, particularly the elderly and disabled, so that they may live in warmth, safety, and independence. We also provide help through work on community projects.

Christmas in April Charles County is the volunteer organization started in 1990 that, in partnership with the community, rehabilitates the houses of low-income homeowners, elderly and disabled, so that they may continue to live in warmth, safety and independence. After months of planning and preparation, Christmas in April culminates in a National Rebuilding Day on the last Saturday in April. Last year 1,051 volunteers of all ages, faiths and walks of life come together to help neighbors in the American barnraising tradition.

We are a non-profit organization that provides FREE one-on-one personal assistance to Senior citizens. We take them to their doctors appointments, cleaners, pick up medication, grocery stores and where ever else they need their daughter to take them. We are always looking for loving and caring people that have a few hours to assist a senior. It is very flexible for the daughters. Please call to find our more or visit our website.
