Clean It Up SOMD is a local initiative to drive the community to volunteer and participate in local trash cleanups in the area. Our goal is to raise awareness about litter in the area and reduce the amount of trash in our community. We accept recommendations of local areas that could benefit from a cleanup, and also help support local businesses who would like to co-host and participate in the cleanups as well. We coordinate the cleanups, schedule, and provide supplies like trash bags and grabbers, and then interested community members show up to lend a hand.
