Calvert All Stars, Inc. is a federally recognized non-profit organization (501c3) formed in 1998 to provide a means for those individuals who excel at the sport of cheerleading to compete at the all star level. Calvert All Stars is staffed entirely by volunteers who devote their time and talents to supporting the youth of Southern Maryland. In 2006, CAS will celebrate EIGHT GREAT YEARS! ! ! We would like to thank everyone for their support and encouragement. As we approach the end of our seventh successful season, we reflect upon our many accomplishments, the addition of our 3000 sq ft training facility and full spring floor; and we are delighted with the continued growth and achievements of all our members and our organization as a whole. None of this could be accomplished without the efforts of our volunteer coaching staff, parents, and team members. Over the last seven years, CAS Cheer Teams have achieved six national titles, crowned grand champions, and are consistently recognized by their peers for sportsmanship and spirit. We were honored to be the featured All Star Team in the March 2005 edition of Cheer Biz magazine, cheerleading’s premiere magazine for all star cheerleading teams across the country. We continue to support the community with our efforts on behalf of the Chesapeake Cares Food Pantry, and are looking forward to expanding our community outreach program. Our teams continue to excel, placing among the top teams in the state. All our teams have had an outstanding season again this year, bringing home several first place trophies to add to our shelves. We are looking forward to continuing the winning tradition as we attend Nationals’ in March 2007. Registration for the 2006-2007 season will be held beginning in April 2006. The 2006-2007 brings an exciting addition to the Cougar Family - All Star Dance Teams. We have a "no cut" policy for all children age 13 and younger, as we believe that all children have the potential to become great cheerleaders & dancers, provided they have the desire, dedication, and determination. If you are interested in learning more about Calvert All Stars Cheer & Dance Teams please visit our website at www.calvertallstars.com for additional information and the opportunity to be added to our mailing list. If you are already a member of the CAS Family—or would like to be—please visit our family site at www.calvertallstars.org for all of the latest information on all the CAS Cheer Teams.[ Last Updated: 22-Mar-2006 | Hits: 1344 | Reader Comments Report Problem
