I stumbled across the site looking for something else. very impressive range of local services offered. it's a shame this forum wasn't around in before 1959 when i graduated from la plata h.s. my friends were scattered from one end of southern md. to the other. if any one from the class of '59 surfs this site and stumbles across me drop a line it would be great to read from you |

Hallo, I'm looking for information in any form about Harmans MD. I try to find it everywhere, but I cannot find it. I'm searching for that city because it have the same name as myself. While I'm living in the north of The Netherlands in Europe, you can realize that I was more than surprised to see the name of that city. Please can you help me to get more information? Adresses or something like that. I would me very happy if you can and will help me. Thank you very much and I'm looking forward to your reaction. Many greetings, Niek Harmans - Hoogeveen - The Netherlands |

Living in Far East Asia is wonderful, but sometimes I miss the good ole Patuxent River. Opening the SMO page brings me closer to home. |

I love this site...........I was exploring the employment section and ended up spending 3 plus hours going threw all of your interesting stuff. I printed off lots of neat stuff to do and also added something in your classifieds and employment section. This is a FAVORITE SPOT for me!! How about adding craft fairs and yard sales??? I will be returning over and over again!! I love it!! |

I’m trying to find the owner of a derelict house on the Patuxent River called Resurrection Manor or Scotch Neck. I believe the nearest town is Hollywood, MD. The small brick house was built, probably, in the early 18th Century and would require demolition and reconstruction to save it. For that reason I would like to research moving the building (once reduced to bricks and timbers), to Hagerstown for historic reconstruction. Any ideas on who the owner is? I believe he’s in real estate. Thanks. |

I am fairly new to the Internet, but learning. I came across Southern Maryland Online as I was searching for different information. Looks great, keep up the good work! A page for high school, family reunions would be nice. I graduated from Gwynn Park High Schhool, Brandywine, Md in 1969. Looking for classmates to correspond with, and wonder if there will be a class reunion in the near future? Thanks again. Flo Brandstetter |

My mother's family (Guy) is from St. Mary's County and I think of all the places I have visited, St. Mary's is the BEST! I love the relaxed friendly atmosphere and, of course, the crabs, oysters and stuffed ham! Please don't let too many people know about this jewel of a place to visit and live. |

It is very nice to find something of local interest on the internet! I have recently joined the Charles County Chamber of Commerce and was looking for any local information on the net when I ran upon your site. I think the site looks great. |
