Get your hands on history! Tidewater Archaeology Weekend is July 28 and 29 at Historic St. Mary's City. Visit excavations of Maryland's first state house and help screen for artifacts. Tour the lab, take a break at an Archaeology Film Fest in the Visitor Center Auditorium, and get the inside scoop on St. John’s by touring with the archaeologist who directed excavations on the site. Activities 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Fee includes special event, living history exhibits, and the St. John's Site Museum.
