Heather Nelson of Great Mills and Shaun Carberry of Lexington Park were married on Tuesday, October 31, 2006 in St. Mary's County. The bride is the daughter of Joseph and Sondra Nelson of Lillington, NC. The groom is the son of Christopher and Elizabeth Carberry of Lex Prk, MD.

Groom is a 1999 graduate from Great Mills High School and a 2005 graduate from the Police Academy. He is currently a St. Mary's County Deputy. The bride is a 2001 graduate from Great Mills High school and is currently employed with Metro Restaurant and Janitorial Supplies.
