Julie Harris of Port Republic and Jon Whiston of Waldorf were married on Monday, April 28, 2003 in Maui, Hawaii. The bride is the daughter of Thomas and Helen Harris. The groom is the son of Jimmy Whiston & Irene Carroll.

The newlyweds spent their honeymoon in Hawaii.

Jon & Julie along with Jon's mother and new husband, Tommy went on a cruise to the islands of Hawaii and Jon & Julie were married on the beach in Maui. They have returned to have a reception for family and friends at Jaycee's in Waldorf on May 10, 2003.
