Lavanna (Kia) Swales of Mechanicsville and Damian Weems of Mechanicsville were married on Saturday, June 21, 2003 in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Lexington Park, MD. The bride is the daughter of Mr&Mrs Charles Medley/Mr&Mrs Walter Swales. The groom is the son of Ms Carleen Harrod & Mr Charles Weems.

The newlyweds spent their honeymoon in Niagara Falls.

We will be validating our marriage vows at 6pm and the reception will follow at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Reception Hall.
