Katie Jo Currie of Leonardtown and James Maguire Mattingly IV of Leonardtown were married on Saturday, September 30, 2017 in Leonardtown, Maryland. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel C. Walker & Mr. Michael Currie. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Maguire Mattingly, III.

The bride-to-be is a Registered Nurse at MedStar St. Mary's Hospital. The groom-to-be is employed by St. Mary's County Government, under the Department of Emergency Services and Technology. The groom-to-be also serves on the Leonardtown Council and the Maryland Municipal League Board of Directors.
