John Francis Olsavsky, 74, of Lothian, MD, formerly of Brier Hill, PA, died on Saturday, March 8, 2008 at his residence of natural causes.

He is survived by his wife Phyllis Marie Olsavsky, his sister Martha O. Veletto of Parsippany, NJ; his nieces Kimberly V. Shanahan of Fairfax, VA; Marlane Carroll of Mechanicsburg, PA; nephews Keith E. Veletto of Parsippany, NJ and Kevin M. Veletto of Wharton, NJ; Gordon Hamlin and Hugh Hamlin of Fairfield California. and 15 grand nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents John Joseph and Olga Brozovich Olsavsky and his sister Elizabeth Hamlin.

A local visitation was held at Rausch Funeral Home, 8325 Mt. Harmony Lane, Owings on Monday, March 10. Reverend Darryl Zoller of Smithville United Methodist Church officiated a funeral service on Tuesday, March 11, 2008.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 13 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Robert T. Kisch Funeral Home, 19 Legion Street, Republic, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered by Father Stephen Bugay at Madonna of Czestochowa Parish on Main Street in Cardale, PA on Friday March 14 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Lafayette Memorial Gardens Brier Hill, PA..
