Catherine Marie Michura, 59, of Mechanicsville, MD passed away surrounded by family on September 8, 2014 at MedStar St. Mary's Hospital in Leonardtown, MD. She was born on August 6, 1955 to the late James R. Brilhart and the late Anna Sedor Brilhart in McKeesport, PA.

Cathy enjoyed her '54 Chevy, was a member of the Southern Knights Rod & Custom Club. She was an avid collector of antiques and stuffed bears. Cathy was a John F. & Jacqueline Kennedy enthusiast. Her beloved cats were her passion. What she enjoyed most was spending time at her cottage as well as the beach.

She recently retired as a medical registration clerk from Medstar Southern Maryland Hospital due to illness.

In addition to her parents, Cathy was predeceased by her brother, John Brilhart.

Cathy is survived by her loving husband, Richard "Rick" Michura of 39 years; sisters, Patricia Roberts and Linda (David) Provins; brother, Tim (Barb) Brilhart; sister-in-laws, Linda Brilhart and Sharon (Gil) Jones; brother-in-law, John (Dolly) Michura; Godchildren (niece/nephew) Traci and Matthew Provins; nephew, John (Jennifer) Roberts, Jr.; nieces, Marianne (Henry) Lassige, Kaely Brilhart, and Nicole Brilhart; great nieces, Angelique and Alexandria; great nephew, Johnny; and numerous loved nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received for Catherine's Memorial Life Celebration on Friday September 12th, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Memorial Service to begin at 7:15 p.m. at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. A Memorial Mass will also be held in her home town of Clairton, PA.
