Mary Fay Simpson, 77, of La Plata died March 1st at her home. She worked as an operator for C & P Telephone Company and then the Board of Education as a Food Service worker or better known as "The Milk Lady". She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in La Plata. She was a loving wife and "A Mom to Many". She spent her entire life giving to others and had an open door policy for many friends, family, and neighbors. Mary Fay was a true believer in unconditional love.

She was preceded in death by her Mother and Father, Loretta and Benjamin Wright of Marbury, her brothers Elbert Wright, Earl Wright, her sister Lorraine Good and her son, Andrew C. Simpson, Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Carroll Simpson, daughters Carolyn Johnson and husband Warren Johnson, Donna Carpentieri and significant other George Henderson, Janice Giannotti and husband Wayne Giannotti, Jr., grandaughter, Savanna Giannotti and brother Jay Wright.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm on Wednesday, with a prayer service at 7 pm. at Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, P.A. in La Plata, MD.

Burial will take place at Cheletenham Veteran's Cemetery at 11 am on Monday March 10, 2008.
