![]() Woodrow Brent Stanley of White Plains, MD died on August 16, 2014 at his residence. He was 48 years old.
Brent was a loving and devoted husband of 14 years to Jackie Willett. He grew up in Indian Head, attended Clinton Christian Academy, and graduated from Lackey High School. Brent was the proud owner of Stanley Restoration & Repurposing and truly was a jack of all trades. There was never a favor asked that he did not fulfill or a challenge given that he did not meet. He was most proud of his daughter April and never missed an opportunity to brag of her many accomplishments. Brent raised and loved his stepchildren as his own. Affectionately known as Poppy by his grandchildren who will truly miss his goofy faces, the fun times they shared, and of course his hugs and kisses. His passions in life included restoring his Corvettes, watching NASCAR, Fantasy Football, and golf, but most of all spending time with his family and close friends enjoying life to its fullest. Brent was always the life of the party, ensuring there was never a dull moment when he was in the room. Brent's famous impersonations of John Wayne, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jack Sparrow, Scooby Doo, and his beloved late father-in-law, Ronnie D. kept his family and friends in stitches. As the planner in the family, he loved to plan the next family vacation. Most recently a week this summer spent in the mountains with those he loved most. That quality family time will forever be cherished by his loving wife, children, and grandchildren. He is the son of the late Woodrow Wilson Stanley Jr. and the living JoAnn Deane. He is also survived by his wife, Jackie Willett; his daughter, April DeAtley and her husband Sean; his step-children, Susan Pierce and her husband Johnny, Ashley Major and her husband Danny, Rachel Foster, and Jacqueline Bartram; his sister, Marilyn Stanley; his grandchildren, Peyton DeAtley, Sophia Major, Landon DeAtley, Haley Snow, Michael Snow Jr., and EJ Snow; and his life-long childhood friend, Jim "Jimbo" Wilken.
