Francis Allen "Tiny" Howard, 75, of Waldorf, MD passed away on August 12, 2014. He was born on February 10, 1939 in Washington, DC to the late James C. Howard and the late Loretta Gardiner Howard.

Tiny retired early at the age of 55 from C & P Telephone Company. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting, watching birds, and just being outdoors. His greatest treasure was his family.

In addition to his parents, Tiny was predeceased by one of his sisters, Patricia Howard.

Tiny is survived by his loving wife, Vickie Howard; six children, Mary Kauffman (Lloyd), Timothy Howard, Susan Morgan (Lee), Frances "Frani" Knobel (Mark), Kelly Cox (James), and Rebecca "Becky" Schmitt (Scott); brother, James "Sonny" Howard; sister, Genevieve "Jenny" Wathen; 11 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way; and his many friends at the Hughesville American Legion, Mechanicsville Moose Lodge, and Gallant Green Store.

Family and friends will celebrate Tiny's life during a viewing and visitation on Monday, August 18th 2014 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m, with prayers beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 19th 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 3320 St. Peter's Drive, Waldorf, MD 20601. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery, 3320 Poplar Hill Road, Waldorf, MD.
