Peggy Lou Fowler, 78, of Hughesville, MD passed away on August 5, 2014 at Hospice House of Charles County, Waldorf, MD. Born June 11, 1936 in Sharon, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Melvin Aaron and the late Doris Louise Davis Aaron.

Peggy enjoyed horses, trail riding, sewing, quilting, puzzles, and she loved southern gospel music, especially "The Gaithers." She was an Analyst with the Federal Communications Commission until she retired in 1996.

Peggy is survived by her loving husband, Louis Curtis Fowler of 58 years, her sister, Shirley Jean Cumberland, niece and nephew, Sherri Lynn Knight, Thomas J. Price, five great nieces, two great nephews, one each great great niece and nephew.

The family will receive friends for Peggy's Life Celebration Visitation on Friday, August 8, 2014, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00p.m. and 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. and on Saturday, August 9, 2014, 10:00a.m. to 11:00a.m. before the service at Hughesville Baptist Church, 8505 Old Leonardtown Road, Hughesville, MD 20637. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00a.m. at Hughesville Baptist Church on Saturday, August 9, 2014 with Pastor Keith Corrick and Pastor Kevin Cullins officiating. Burial will follow at Heritage Memorial Park Cemetery, 13472 Poplar Hill Road, Waldorf, MD 20601.
