Ellen Kathleen Grimes of Indian Head, MD died at her residence. She was 22 years old.

Ellen was a student at the Award Beauty Academy. She graduated from Lackey High School in 2009, was a member of the North Point Field Hockey team, and was a Girl Scout.

She is the daughter of the Richard Grimes, Marcy Murphy James and David James; granddaughter of Mike and Faye Storie, Patricia and James Dawson, Ned Ray Murphy, Walter Emory Grimes, Janet and Marvin Marsh, and Robert and Mary James; mother of Leilani, and sister of Scotty Grimes and Jared and Jacob James.

Friends received on Thursday, July 17, 2014 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM at the Raymond Funeral Service Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Funeral Service on Friday, July 18, 2014 beginning at 10AM at the Pisgah Methodist Church, 7020 Poor House Road, Marbury, MD 20658. Interment in the Nazarene Cemetery in Pisgah, MD.
