![]() Donna Lee Conrad, 61, of La Plata, MD, formerly of Cheltenham, MD passed away July 4, 2014 at Washington Hospital Center. Born December 4, 1952 in Washington, DC she was the daughter of John Delman Benton, Sr. and Henrietta Lucille Karis.
Donna worked at Gus & John's in Clinton, MD and Holiday Inn in NW Washington, DC, but her greatest joy was being a homemaker, caring for her family. She tried to treasure every moment with friends and family by photographing every event, whether big or small, filling numerous photo albums. She loved being in the sun, but her passion in life was her family and in her later years, her grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents and sister, Tonnie Benton, Donna is survived by her husband, Tom Conrad; sons, Tom Conrad, Jr. (Heather), Chuck Conrad (Theresa), Will Conrad (Stephanie Mitchell), and Bryan Benton; brother, Butch Benton (Pat); father-in-law, Dwight E. Conrad (Sandy); special niece, Chrisy Beauregard (husband Tim, and daughter Madison); nine grandchildren, Austin Mattingley, Andrew Conrad, Savannah Conrad, Alex Weedon, Abigail Conrad, Lydia Conrad, Thomas Conrad, III, Hannah Conrad, and "Peanut" Conrad due in January 2015. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
