William Harris Lee, 90, of Hughesville died Feb. 25, 2008, at Charlotte Hall Veterans Home.

Born March 28, 1917, in Russell, Ky., he was the son of the late Robert E. and Margaret Simpson Lee.

He served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a manager for Kanns department store and a buyer for AW Industries.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ida E. Lee.

He is survived by his daughters, Candace Oberti and Vicki Lee of Hughesville; his grandchildren, Tiffany Garner and Stephen Oberti; and one great-grandchild, Hayli Garner.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 4, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home in Charlotte Hall, where a life celebration will be held at 11 a.m.

Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Suitland.
