Steven Frances Guy, 81, of Hughesville, MD passed away on June 19, 2014 at Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata, MD. He was born on December 24, 1932 in La Plata, MD to the late Frank Guy and the late Louise Cooksey Guy.

Steven graduated from La Plata H.S. in 1950 and later became a foreman with Taylor Electric. He enjoyed vegetable gardening, growing tobacco, raising cattle, fishing, and hunting.

Steven is survived by his sons, Dennis Guy (Pam), Douglas W. Guy, and Steven Guy, Jr.; three grandchildren, Douglas W. Guy, Jr., Dustin F. Guy, and Sarah E. Guy; and two great grandchildren, Ryan Gould and Riley Jo Gould.

Family and friends will be received to celebrate Steven's life on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. A Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Old Fields Cemetery in Hughesville, MD.
