Michael Joseph Young, Jr., 22 of Mechanicsville, MD, died Friday, February 22, 2008.

He was born July 1, 1985 in Riverdale, MD. He attended Chopticon High School and worked for Posners Industries in Hollywood, MD.

He is survived by his parents, Michael Joseph Young, Sr. and Brenda Tate; grandparents Milton and Frances Young of Mechanicsville, MD and Dreama Nicely of Laurel, MD, fiancé; Amy Faunce, daughter; Mia Nichole Young, uncle; Richard Young, Sr., aunt's; Kimberly Young and Melanie Dixon, cousins; Heather, Brittany and Richard Young, Jr.

Mikey was a loving and dedicated father to his daughter, he loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed weight lifting, riding motorcycles, playing basketball, eating crabs and washing and taking care of his truck.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2008 from 5 to 8pm in the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., Charlotte Hall, MD 20622, where a Life Celebration will be conducted at 7PM. Interment will be private.
