Michelle Ann Long, 43 of Hollywood, MD, passed away on June 15, 2014 in Callaway, MD. Born January 22, 1971 in Leonardtown, MD, she was the daughter of Carol Ann Bain of Abell, MD and William Douglas Wathen, Jr. of Leonardtown, MD.

Michelle is survived by her husband, Scott Anthony Long whom she married on December 31, 2007 in Leonardtown, MD, children; Camille Neva Alvey, Halei Olivia Long, and Jocelyn Ann Long all of Hollywood, MD, Beverly Buckler of Leonardtown, MD and Ronald Alvey of Callaway, MD., brother Shawn Richard (Angela) Wathen of Coltons Point, MD.

Michelle was a lifelong resident of St. Mary's County, MD; she graduated from Leonardtown High School in 1988, and earned her Bachelor's degree in 2010 from UMUC, she was a QA Manager for Smartronix.

Everyone who knew Michelle knows that she had a heart of gold. You were her friend from the moment you met her. With her caring and generous heart she was always thinking of others. Her loves of life were her beautiful daughters and loving husband. Having her in your life was a blessing and a joy and you knew you had a friend for life.

Michelle gave her whole heart in whatever she did. She was so loving, caring generous, funny and witty, but most of all, Michelle was a beautiful woman inside and out. Throughout the last couple of years her humor and perspective of what she was going through was amazing. Her positive outlook with so much love and generosity that was given to her and her family and she knew that she is loved deeply.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 21, 2014 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM. in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, Leonardtown, MD, A Memorial Service will follow in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be private.
