Gerald Parks Fray of Waldorf, MD, died on Monday, May 13, 2014 at his residence. He was 70 years old.

Born on March 22, 1944 in Kennett, MO, he was the son of the late Katherine Lee Parks Fray and the late Jesse Hale Fray.

Mr. Fray served in the U. S. Air Force. He was currently working with ESSI as a Software Trainer. Known affectionately as Parko, Mr. Fray enjoyed scuba diving, spending time with his family and family dog, Stormy. He was a member of Grace Brethren Church in Waldorf.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife, Juanita Sue Dicky Fray.

He is survived his wife Susan E. Fray; his daughter Mary Katherine Lannom and her husband Joe Eldridge Lannom IV; his sons David Jesse Fray, Jonathan Parks Fray, and Michael Gerome Fray; his brother Joseph Hale Fray and his wife Linda; his grandsons Jesse James Ellis and Christopher Blake Lannom.

Visitation on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 from 6PM to 8PM and an additional visitation on Thursday, May 22, 2014 from 10AM-12PM at the Raymond Funeral Service, P.A. 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646 and where a Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2014 beginning at 12Noon with Pastor Bill Walker officiating. Interment to follow at Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery.
