Janice Audrey Comer of Leonardtown, MD formerly of Waldorf, MD passed on Sunday, April 27, 2014. She was born on September 23, 1928 in Washington, DC.

Beloved wife of the Late Carl Comer of 62 years.

Mother of Courtney Harbin (Bob) of Waldorf, MD, Carol Bashor (Randy) of Loris, SC, Carla Boggs (Greg) of Leonardtown, MD, Craig Comer(Rocio) of Cooperas Cove, TX, and Clay Comer of Kingsport, TN. Grandmother of Peter, Jacquelyn, Rachel, Michael, Michelle, Travis, Heather, Cian, Chelsey, Carly, Colt, Caine, Cody, and the late Christopher. Also survived by 17 Great-Grandchildren.

Mrs. Comer lived in Southern Maryland for 49 years and was a Title Clerk at MVA for 20+ years.

She enjoyed spending her free time crocheting, painting her late husband's woodwork projects, cook, and being in the company of her animals. She was a strong person, teaching her five children the values of life and how to stand on their own. She also enjoyed on occasion a glass of wine with her granddaughter.

Relatives and friends may call the Huntt Funeral Home, 3035 Old Washington Road Waldorf, MD 20601 on Thursday, May 1, 2014 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM. Funeral Service will be held 10:00AM Friday, May 2, 2014. Interment Trinity Memorial Gardens Waldorf, MD. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Hospice.
