Dorothy Ann Pemberton died on Wednesday, February 20, 2008, at the age of 88 in Solomons Nursing Center, Solomons, Maryland. She was born on December 22, 1919 in Idabel, Oklahoma to the late Theo and Nellie Buchanan. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Charles Albert Pemberton.

Dorothy resided in Milford, Connecticut most of her life. She worked at Milford Hospital for thirty years in Radiology Administration.

Mrs. Pemberton is survived by her daughter Sharon Janelle Arnstrom and her husband Peter Reynolds Arnstrom of California, MD; granddaughters Kimberly Shatrowsky and her husband Mark of Huntingtown, MD and Jessica Wells and her husband BJ of Compton, MD; grandson Eric Pratt and his wife June of Lusby, MD; great grandchildren Ayiana Skye Pratt, Lillie Mae Wells and James Douglas Wells.
