David Lee Farnsworth of Waldorf, MD died on April 20, 2014 at the University of MD Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata, MD. He was 66 years old.

Mr. Farnsworth was a plumber/carpenter with M.A.C. Mechanical, Inc. for 9 years. He was an Abate member of Charles County and also worked for The National Children's Center for 8 years.

He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

He is the son of the late Alfred Farnsworth and the late Nannie Miller Farnsworth.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Betty Farnsworth; one son, Jeffery Nischalke and his wife Sharon; two daughters, Sylvia Pilkerton and her husband Timothy and Michele Farnsworth; one brother, Ronald Farnsworth; two sisters, Erma Wentz and Sharon Farnsworth; and two grandchildren, Austin and Madison. He is also survived by numerous aunts and uncles.

Friends received on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM at the Raymond Funeral Service Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646 with an additional visitation on Thursday, April 24, 2014 from 10AM until time of Funeral Service at 11AM at the Cedarville Assembly of God Church, 11600 Cedarville Road, Brandywine, MD 20613. Interment at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3221 Mattawoman-Beantown Road, Waldorf, MD 20601.
