Bobette Adair Stringer, 60, of Lexington Park, MD passed away on April 21, 2014 at Hospice House of Charles County in Waldorf, MD. She was born on December 8, 1953 in Elmira, NY to Robert R. Michael and the late Millie Etta (Clark) Donlin.

Before retiring, Bobbi worked as a Program Analyst for the Naval Air Systems Command at the Patuxent River Naval Air Base, Lexington Park, MD. She liked horses and dogs, especially English Setters. Bobbie also enjoyed gardening, cooking, auctions, flea markets, boating and fishing. She was an accomplished barrel racer at horse shows as a teenager and a professional jockey for a short time. She bred and showed English Setters in her kennel (Driftwood), including a couple of Champions.

Prior to working at Navair, Pax River, Bobbi worked at the Defense Contracts Management Area in-plant office at Lockheed Martin in Owego, NY.

Bobette is survived by her husband, Gary L. Stringer; and her father, Robert Michael.

A private service or gathering may be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to any local animal shelter or a Veterans' charity.
