Joyce Anita Patton, 70 of Mechanicsville, MD, formerly of Litchfield Park, Arizona, died on February 19, 2008 at St. Mary's Hospital.

Born September 19, 1937 in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of the late Raymond J. and Anita L. Zuleger.

Mrs. Patton enjoyed many things, playing cards, especially spades, computer games, sports, roller skating, bowling, bingo, country dancing and eating out. Her favorite teams were the Redskins, Red Sox's and the Sun's. She was a handyman and could build or fix anything. She was a devoted wife of 50 years, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Leslie H. Patton, Sr., her children: Elizabeth A. Patton Thomas, (David), Leslie H. Patton, Jr., (Nancy) and Lori A. Patton Murphy, her siblings: Linda Keeney, Edmund Zuleger, (Cindy), Raymond Zuleger, (Jeannie), and Peter Zuleger, (Leta), eight grandchildren: Lesley, John, Meghan, James, Steven, Sean, Matthew and Joseph, two great grandchildren: Ashlynn and Skielur.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 22, 2008 from 5 to 7pm in the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, Charlotte Hall, MD, where a Life Celebration will be conducted at 7pm with Father Joseph Dobson officiating. Interment will be private.
