Donald Gunby Keeton, 90, of Colonial Beach, VA and formerly of Benedict, MD passed away on April 11, 2014 at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, VA. He was born on July 17, 1923 in Arkansas to the late James Franklin Keeton and the late Hellen McHenry.

Donald served with the Air force during WWII. Later he became a supervisor in the meat department at Giant Foods, where he supervised 30 to 40 stores. Donald enjoyed fishing and gardening. He traveled back yearly to Arkansas, Kentucky, and Florida to visit family.

In addition to his parents, Donald was predeceased by his wife, Jane B. (Brown) Keeton, in year 2000; three brothers; and two sisters.

Donald is survived by his two sons, Randy Keeton and Steve Keeton; and his three grandchildren, Kalab, Justin, and J. Jr.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3221 Mattawoman-Beantown Road, Waldorf, MD 20601. Rev. James Chance will officiate.
