Carroll "Pop" Webster Morgan, 66, of Mechanicsville, MD passed away March 22, 2014 at his residence. Born April 24, 1947 in Leonardtown, MD, he was the son of Carroll Richard Morgan and Mary Madeline Wathen Morgan.

Carroll worked for 45 years as a brick mason owning and operating his own company.

He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Southern Maryland Coon Hunters Association, Southern Maryland Horseshoe League and Pop Johnson's Hunting Club. He enjoyed hunting coon, deer, elk and bear. He also enjoyed dancing, horseshoes and he loved to make items from wood.

Carroll was predeceased by his father; son, Harrell Thomas Morgan; brother, Richard Morgan and sister Catherine L. Morgan.

He is survived by his mother; wife, Deborah Ann Morgan; son, Captain Brian Carroll Morgan (Shannon) of San Antonio, TX; step-son, Alton Emmitt Glaze, III (Tisha) of Hamlet, NC and stepdaughter, Melissa Lynn Glaze of Birmingham, AL; brothers, Ralph Francis Morgan and Charles Larry Morgan (Joyce) of Mechanicsville, MD and Joseph Wayne Morgan of California, MD and 12 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends for a Life Celebration Gathering on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 from 10:00a.m. to 11:00a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 28297 Old Village Rd., Mechanicsville, MD. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00a.m. celebrated by Rev. Michael Tietjen.
