Kenneth "Kenny" Michael Woodburn, 24, of Leonardtown, MD passed away on March 21, 2014 in Leonardtown, MD. Born on September 4, 1989, he was the loving son of Debbie Bowles Woodburn companion (Jimmy Knott) of Hollywood, MD and Charles David Woodburn, Jr. (Marie) of Leonardtown, MD.

Kenny is survived by his siblings; Jennifer Ann Rice (Stephen) of Piney Point, MD., Charles David "Davey" Woodburn, III, (Nicole), of Hollywood, MD, step Brothers; Claude Nicholas Burns of Boston, , Burke Eugene Burns of Mechanicsville, MD, and step sister Brittany Marie Owen (Greg) of California. Kenny is also survived by 5 nieces, 2 nephews, grandparents Sara and Charles David "Teeny" Woodburn, Sr., and Kitty and Freddie Bowles.

Kenny attended Leonardtown High School and was a lifelong resident of St. Mary's County, MD. Kenny was a kind hearted free-spirit who was loved by many. He enjoyed all outdoor activities with a passion for hunting, and fishing. He especially treasured his many hikes in the woods to collect deer antlers. He loved to free-hand draw and tinker with anything mechanical. He will be greatly missed.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 from 5:00- PM – 8:00 PM with prayers recited at 7:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Leonardtown, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 10:00 Am in Our Lady's Catholic Church Leonardtown, MD with Father Lawrence Young officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers: Davey Woodburn, Rick Woodburn, Freddie Bowles, Alan Bowles, Randy Bowles, and Wayne Bowles. Honorary Pallbearers: Stephen Rice, Joe Knott, Eric Sweeney, and Bill Goldsbourgh.
