Dorothy Ann Turik Cuervo, 81 of La Plata, MD died March 1, 2014 at Charles County Hospice House, Waldorf, MD.

Born September 14, 1932 in Port Homer, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late John Turik and Anna Gabosski Turik. She was also preceded in death by all her siblings.

She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years Raymond Cuervo, son Raymond James Cuervo and daughter Carolyn S. Harden, 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Cuervo was a deli manager at Safeway. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She was a people person with many whom she would consider a good friend. She loved life and lived each day to the fullest.

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 6, 2014 from 10 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Ave., La Plata, MD 20646.

Interment will be Thursday, March 13, 2014 at 10:00AM at MD Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD.
