Mrs. Poole was a master cake decorator for 30 years for Walls Bakery in Waldorf, MD. She enjoyed gardening and care giving to family and relatives. She was a nurturing type person. She raised five daughters and was a good mother.

Daughter of the late Bernard Bennett and Ceceila Lupo Bennett. Predeceased by her parents, one daughter Gizzelle Hutchinson and one brother Joseph Bennett.

Survived by her four daughters Brenda Irvin of Waldorf, MD, Diane Vanderwest of Sarasota, FL, Patricia (Tom) Edwards of Charlotte Hall, MD and Rosella L. (Skip) Edelen of Hughesville, MD; two sisters Sandra Westcoat of New Jersey and Gizella Raven of England; also survived by nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Visitation on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 from2-4 and 6-8pm at Raymond Funeral Chapel, La Plata, Md.

Funeral Service on Thursday, February 14, 2008 at 11am at Raymond Funeral Chapel. Clergy will be Reverend Mark Roberson. Interment at St. Mary's Church Cemetery Bryantown, MD. Pallbearers wil be Brian and Christopher Irvin, Tony, Matt, Joey and B. J. Cave. Honorary Pallbearers will be Michael and Taylor Vanderwest.
