Marilyn Elizabeth Moore, 79, of Charlotte Hall, MD passed on February 18, 2014. Marilyn was born in Toledo, Ohio to the late Francis and Gladys (Tuey) O'Shea.

She married Gerald Moore Sr. on August 7th, 1955, and he survives.

Marilyn was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and lovingly raised two daughters and a son. She cared for her ailing husband and raised a grandson later in life. She was devoted to her family, volunteering, and her church, Immaculate Conception Church in Mechanicsville, Md.

She had a gift for helping, and providing support for people in troubled times. She was most recently a resident of the Charlotte Hall Veteran's home, and was elected as Vice President of the Resident Council.
In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathleen Judith Moore, sons Francis and Charles, brother's John and Francis O'Shea, and sister Rita Hastings.

Marilyn is survived by husband, Gerald Ray Moore Sr., son, Gerald Ray Moore Jr, (Karen Fedor), daughter, Cynthia Moore-Sailors (Mark), sister's in-law, Marie O'Shea, and Marion O'Shea, grandchildren, Donovan Moore, Teagan Sailors, Sarah Moore, and 15 nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends for Marilyn's Life Celebration Visitation on Sunday, February 23, 2014 from 4pm to 8pm with Prayers at 7pm at the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, Md. 20622. A Mass of Catholic Burial will be held on Monday, February 24, 2014 at 10:00am at Immaculate Conception Church, 28297 Old Village Rd, Mechanicsville, MD 20659, with Father Tietjen officiating.
