Steven Edward Coontz, 53, of Lusby passed away February 5, 2014 in Prince Frederick. He was born January 6, 1961 in Washington D.C. to Jimmie and Frances (Elza) Coontz.

Steven is survived by a son Bradley Coontz of Chesapeake Beach, a daughter Arlena Miller of Huntingtown, and his parents Frances and Jimmie Coontz of Fairmont, West Virginia. Also surviving are a grandson Matthew Pickeral, sisters Stephanie Boothe of Owings, Tina Nickless of Lexington Park, and Cathy Taylor of Georgia, brothers Mark Coontz, Sr., of St. Mary's County, and Michael Coontz of Prince Frederick, his beloved dog Lacy, and many nieces and nephews.

Steven was preceded in death by a brother Johnny Coontz.
