William Ray "Bill" Reeves of Port Tobacco, MD died on January 25, 2014 at Charles County Hospice House in Waldorf, MD. He was 76 years old.

Bill was a self-employed chemical engineer for 45 years and a veteran of the United States Army Reserves. He was past president for the Society for the Restoration of Port Tobacco and a member of the Army/Navy Club in Washington, DC and the Harvard Business Club in Washington, DC.

He is the son of the late Leslie J. Reeves and the late Phoebe Hale Reeves. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Mary Reeves; two sons, David W. and Robert S. Reeves; one daughter, Katherine M. Reeves; and one sister, Sandra Hockensmith of Douglasville, GA.

Friends received on Friday, January 31, 2014 from 9:30AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM at St. Ignatius Chapel Point Catholic Church, 8855 Chapel Point Road, Port Tobacco, MD 20677. Interment will be private.
