James Franklin "Frank" Harris, Jr., 51, of California, MD died peacefully January 19, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 22, 1962 in Leonardtown, MD to the late James Franklin Harris, Sr. and Betty Lou Russell Harris.

Born and raised in St. Mary's County, Frank was the owner/operator of G&H Jewelers in California, MD. Frank was proud to be a part of the family business which includes his wife, sons and dearest friends.

Frank is survived by his wife Joan; his sons, David F. Harris (Kady) of St. Leonard, MD and Mathew J. Harris (Kaitlin) of California, MD; his first grandchild due in July; and his sister, Crystal D. Moeller (Laurence) of Leonardtown, MD.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Gregory R. Harris.

Family will receive friends for Frank's Life Celebration on Thursday, January 23, 2014 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM, with a Service of Remembrance at 7:00 PM at the Brinsfield Funeral Home, 22955 Hollywood Road, Leonardtown, MD 20650. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, January 24, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. at Brinsfield Funeral Home, P.A. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens, Leonardtown, MD.

Serving as pallbearers will be David Harris, Mathew Harris, Will Moeller, Ben Moeller, Timmy Vallandingham and Laurence Moeller. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Mitchell Harris.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Hospice House, P.O. Box 625, Leonardtown, MD 20650.
