Carrie Caroline Niland, 91, of Lusby, MD passed away on July 10, 2007 at Calvert Memorial Hospital. Born Oct. 13, 1915 in Washington D.C. to the late Lawrence and Minnie Schreiber. Beloved wife of the late Vincent Francis Niland, devoted mother of Vincent E. Niland of Sunset Beach, N.C. and Charles F. "Butch" Niland of Sneades Ferry, N.C. Grandmother of; Sharon Walls, Charles Niland, Jr., Vincent F. Niland II, Pamela Niland, Janet Murphy, James Niland, and Denise Wingerd. Great grandmother of Gilbert Walls, Michael Niland, Christopher Walls, Tyler Niland, Matthew Niland, Brianna Niland and Caroline Wingerd. She is also survived by a sister Helen Pavone of Lusby, MD.

The family received friends at the RAUSCH FUNERAL HOME, 4405 Broomes Island Road, Port Republic, MD on Friday July 13, 2007 from 6-8 P.M. Services will be held on Saturday July 145, 2007,10 A.M. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, Solomons Md, with interment following in the church cemetery. Pallbearers for Mrs. Niland are her grandsons and great grandsons: Gilbert Walls, Christopher Walls, Tyler Niland, Chris Browning, Matthew Niland and Michael Niland.
