Constance Rae "Connie" Campbell of La Plata, Maryland died on January 1, 2014 at the Clinton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Clinton, MD. She was 66 years old. Born on January 20, 1947 in Washington, DC she was the daughter of the late Gloria Belote and the late Joseph S. Campbell.

She was formerly of Oxon Hill, Maryland and moved to Charles County. She worked as a Sales Associate for Baldus Real Estate and Hunt Ford. She was a past member of the Oxon Hill Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and the Waldorf Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She was of the Catholic faith and attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Plata.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Tara R. Philip.

She is survived by her son James R. Burke Jr. of Lothian, MD; her sisters Cheryle Campbell, Maureen Walker and Theresa Campbell; her beloved companion Mevlin Kersey; also by numerous nieces and nephews.

Gathering will be held on Friday, January 10, 2014 from 10AM until time of Mass at 11AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 5490 St. Joseph's Way, Pomfret, MD.

Interment will be private.
