Veronica Annette Murphy, 60, of Prince Frederick, MD passed away on July 12, 2007 at Calvert Memorial Hospital in Prince Frederick, Md. Beloved mother of Jason A. Murphy and Jennifer S. Murphy, both of Prince Frederick, Md. She is also survived by two grandchildren. Born April 11, 1947 in Vamburg, Germany to the late Charles and Edith Janzen Allegretti. She is predeceased by a brother Melvin Allegrett. Mrs. Murphy worked at Charlottes Hall Veterans Home as the Medicaid Coordinator. She was a very loving, and giving mother and grandmother.

The family received friends at the Rausch Funeral Home, 4405 Broomes Island Road, Port Republic, MD, on Monday July 16, 2007 from 10-11 AM with the service following at 11 AM. Interment was in Chesapeake Highlands Memorial Gardens, Port Republic, MD.
