Charles Gough "Guffy or Guppy" Fenwick, 73, passed away in Washington, DC on January 1, 2014. He was the loving son of the late Bertha Mae Fenwick and Ambrose Louis Fenwick, Sr.

Charles is survived by his children; Charles Fenwick, Jr of RI, Valerie Fenwick and Karenza Outlar (Douglas), Bianca Fenwick all of Lexington Park, MD. Lisa Burgess of Waldorf, MD, 16 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren. Siblings; Ambrose Fenwick, Jr., Mae Howell and William Fenwick all of Lexington Park, MD.

Charles was preceded in death by his daughter Edwina Fenwick, brothers James Fenwick, and George Brent Fenwick.

He attended from Cardinal Gibbons Institute and worked as a transporter and mail courier for Anchor/ Continental Van Lines from 1960 – 2001 and went on to work for Maryland Bank and Trust from 2001 to 2011.

Charles enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, planting gardens, mainly sunflowers, telling jokes and talking smack, he was an avid lottery player and was a member of the Flaming Knights and Cycle Kings.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 10, 214 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM in St. Peter Claver Catholic Church St. Inigoes, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM in St. Peter Claver Catholic Church St. Inigoes, MD with Father Scott Woods officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers: Lester Price, James Saxon, Kindle Briscoe, Tony Hatton, and Richard Sims. Honorary Pallbearers : Melvin Taylor, Willie Williams, Richard Holley, Charlie Moore and Tom Daugherty.
