Clarence Whitehead, Jr. of Swan Point, MD died on Thursday, December 26, 2013 at his residence. He was 75 years old.

Clarence was the son of the late Clarence David Whitehead and the late Annie Mazie David Whitehead. He is also predeceased by his brother, David Whitehead.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Dorothy Jean Whitehead; one son, David Scott Whitehead and wife Barbara of Mechanicsville, MD; and two grandchildren, Kelly Ann Whitehead and Patrick David Whitehead.

Clarence was a Cartographic Technician with the Corps of Engineers (U. S. Government) and was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He grew up and went to school in Livingston, TX and drafting school in Houston, TX. He was also a member of La Plata United Methodist Church, NRA, and the Model Aviation Club. He loved to read, fishing, playing golf, and crossword puzzles. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Friends were received on Saturday, December 28, 2013 from 1-3PM with a Prayer Service at 2:30PM at Raymond Funeral Service Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Burial to follow at a later date in Chester, TX.
