Mary Rose Adams of Bryans Road, MD went home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 19, 2013. She was 72 years old.

Born on July 4, 1941 in La Plata, MD she was the daughter of the late Martha R. Thomas and the late Joseph Vincent Farmer. Mrs. Farmer received her Master's Degree from the George Washington University in Washington, DC. She was a teacher in various schools throughout Charles County before retiring.

She was the beloved wife of the late Reuben A. Adams; the loving mother of Sandra (Glen) English, Darrence Adams, Terrence Adams and Rashawn (Daryl) Branch; devoted grandmother of Liana, Terrence Jr., Deshawn, Tenia and Donovan. She is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation on Friday, December 27, 2013 from 9AM until time of Mass at 10AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 201 St. Mary's Ave., La Plata, MD 20646. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
