Barbara (Barb) Jean Kohlmeier Arcement of Waldorf, MD died on December 19, 2013 at her residence. She was 64 years old.

She was born in Lyons, NE on September 9, 1949 and was married to Raymond J. Arcement, Jr. on July 10, 1970 in Columbus, NE.

Barb was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and Lydia Lutz Kohlmeier.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Raymond J. Arcement, Jr.; son, Eric Arcement and wife Victoria; daughters, Stacey Welchner and Nicole Patterson and husband Michael; four grandchildren, Kyle, Zachery, Nathan, and Luke; brother, Kenneth Kohlmeier and wife Linda; and sisters, Sharon Carr and husband Harley, Edith Aerni and husband Rich, Marge Wolfe and husband Mark.

Barb was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved time with the family and also enjoyed camping, sightseeing, and her church ministries. She was a supporter of her husband's military career and followed him around the world for two decades.

Visitation on Friday, December 27, 2013 from 5-8PM at Raymond Funeral Service Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Additional visitation on Saturday, December 28, 2013 from 10AM until time of Funeral Service at 11AM at The Lutheran Church of Our Savior, 7365 Indian Head Highway, Bryans Road, MD 20616. Interment to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3221 Mattawoman-Beantown Road, Waldorf, MD 20601.
