Elin Garrett Little, 98, of La Plata, MD died on December 9, 2013 in La Plata, MD.

She was born on February 25, 1915 to the late Thomas Garrett and Dinah Garrett in New York, NY. She is also predeceased by 1 brother and 6 sisters.

Elin worked as a spot welder on Dumont Tubes. She was an active member in the La Plata Baptist Church and enjoyed knitting and crochet.

She is survived by her daughter Nancy Goldsmith of The Villages, FL , son Robert Little of Woodland Hills, CA, grandchildren Debbie Burroughs of LaPlata, MD, Lynn Bowling of Newburg, MD, Rena Sellner of Germantown, MD., Tammy Goodman of Charlotte, NC., Robert Little, Jr. of CA., and Stacy Paydar of Utah. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday December 14, 2013 from 10 am to service time 12 noon at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, La Plata, MD. Interment to follow at the Mt. Rest Cemetery, La Plata, MD.
