Betty L. Burroughs passed away on December 7, 2013 at the Genesis Healthcare Center in Waldorf, Maryland. Daughter of the late Peter Sylvester John Witt and Alice May Witt. She was born in Altoona, Pennsylvania on January 19, 1925 and was the third youngest of ten children.

She is survived by one brother John Witt of Holidaysburg, Pennsylvania.

Married 47 years to Floyd (Casey) Curry of Mechanicsville, Maryland until his death in 1988 and then later to Joseph (Pat) Burroughs of Oracille, Maryland until his death in 1994.

She is the beloved mother of two sons John Curry of Waldorf, Maryland and Richard Curry of Fresno, California.

Her biggest interest in life was friends and family including not only her sons but her seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

She will be missed by her loving family and friends.

A visitation will be held at the Huntt Funeral Home, Waldorf, Maryland on Thursday December 12, 2013 from 4 to 7pm. The funeral service will be on Friday December 13, 2013 at 10am at the Huntt Funeral Home. The burial will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, Maryland.
