Margaret L. Hollar of Waldorf, Maryland passed away surrounded by her loving family on December 4, 2013 at the age of 93. Margaret was born in Lincoln, Virginia and she moved to Washington D.C. during WWII where she met her husband Joseph. They then began their life in Maryland and raised six children.

For most of her career she worked as a dietician. She was active in many senior citizen groups and she enjoyed spending the holidays with her family.

Margaret is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Hollar; father and mother Clarence and Louise Lanham; sons Victor K. Tibbetts and Richard L. Hollar.

She is survived by her daughters JoAnn Shartzer (the late Benard Shartzer), Peggy Ann Kascsak (Richard), Bonnie Sue Baber (the late Kyle Baber) and Mary Jane Cox (Franklin); grandchildren Little Jo, Susie, Buddy, Debbie, Karen, Bucky, Johnny, Ricky, Richard and Kimberly; and twenty two great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held at the Huntt Funeral Home Waldorf, Maryland on Sunday December 8, 2013 from 3 to 6pm. The funeral service will be on Monday December 9, 2013 at 10:30am at the Huntt Funeral Home. Burial will follow the funeral service at Trinity Memorial Gardens Waldorf, Maryland.
